A vertical export is not a landscape export with its sides removed. The subject needs a new place in the frame.
Start where the track earns attention
Choose a recognizable vocal, drop, rhythmic change or other section that gives a new viewer an immediate reason to listen. Remove a long lead-in unless the contrast is the point of the post.
The audio-reactive movement should be visible in the first useful moment, but it does not need to be permanently maximal.
Design around the interface
The TikTok interface occupies visible space around the video. Put the cover, title and most informative movement toward the central safe region and inspect the draft inside the app.
This matters most when the artwork already contains small text near an edge. A small reposition in the visualizer is usually better than shrinking the entire composition.
Use the upload as the final check
Platform processing and interface placement are outside the exporter, so the final draft preview is part of the workflow.
- Confirm the video fills the vertical frame.
- Read every important word at phone size.
- Check the platform has not muted or restricted the audio.
- Choose a cover frame that still identifies the release.
