Account information: your email address, an optional name, an encrypted and hashed password, and your subscription and billing status.

Usage data: number of renders, export timestamps, general service usage statistics, IP address, and browser information.

Payment information: payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Stripe may share limited transaction data with us for billing purposes.

Maximum privacy: the audio and artwork you use to create a visualiser are processed entirely within your browser session and are never stored on our servers.

Files are processed in your session only. No audio, artwork, or exported video is retained anywhere on our side. You create your video, download it, and the data is gone when your session ends.

We use your information to provide and maintain our service, process payments and manage subscriptions, send service updates and customer support by email, analyse usage to improve the product, and comply with our legal obligations.

Under the UK GDPR, we rely on the following bases: performance of our contract with you, to provide the service; our legitimate interests, to improve the service and prevent fraud; your consent, where required, for analytics and advertising cookies and for the advertising measurement described in section 6; and legal obligation, to meet our tax and regulatory duties.

We only share your information where necessary for payment processing, service operation and hosting, advertising measurement where you have consented to it, and legal compliance when required.

If you open the support chat inside the app, your message and your email address, account ID, plan and credit balance are shared with Crisp, our live chat provider, so we can see who we are helping and answer you properly. Crisp processes this on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes.

Advertising measurement works like this. If you accept advertising cookies, the TikTok and Meta pixels record page views and completed signups and purchases so we can see which ads are worth running. Meta also receives editor opens, completed free exports and opened Stripe checkouts. We send server-side copies of selected conversion events to TikTok and Meta so browser privacy tools do not erase legitimate results. These reports can include the purchase amount, SHA-256 hashed copies of your email address and account ID, Meta or TikTok browser and click identifiers, and—where available—your IP address and browser information. Browser and server copies use the same event identifier so the ad platform counts one conversion rather than two. We never send your email address in a readable form, and none of this happens if you decline advertising cookies. See section 10 for how to change your choice.

We do not sell your personal information.

We use secure hosting and industry-standard practices to protect your information. Your audio and artwork are processed within your browser and are never stored on our servers.

We keep your account information while your account is active. Audio and artwork files are not retained after your session. Payment records are kept as required for business and legal purposes.

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on reputable providers that maintain appropriate safeguards and security standards. This includes the advertising measurement described in section 6, which sends data to TikTok and Meta and only happens if you consent to advertising cookies.

We use cookies in three categories. Essential cookies handle authentication, session management and security; these are required for the service to work, so they are always on. Analytics cookies help us understand how the app gets used. Advertising cookies measure which ads bring people here.

Analytics and advertising cookies are off until you turn them on. Nothing in either category loads before you choose.

Essential cookies are set by Supabase, our authentication provider, and by Crisp, the live chat we run inside the app so you can message us for support. Crisp only loads once you are signed in, never on our public pages, and it stores what it needs to keep your conversation with us going. Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Advertising cookies are set by the TikTok and Meta pixels. They report page views, completed signups and purchases after you accept advertising cookies; Meta also receives editor opens, completed free exports and opened Stripe checkouts. We also use Vercel Analytics, which counts page views without setting any cookies or identifying you.

If you accept advertising cookies, we also report completed purchases to TikTok and report completed signups, free exports, opened Stripe checkouts and confirmed purchases to Meta from our own servers. These server reports cover the same actions as their browser counterparts and carry matching event identifiers so each action is counted once. The customer matching information is described in section 6. If you decline advertising cookies, neither browser nor server advertising reports are sent.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookies link in the footer of any page. Withdrawing it stops any further reporting, though it cannot undo reports already sent. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser, though doing so may stop you staying logged in.

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of the personal information we hold about you.

To exercise any of these rights, or to delete your account, email us and we will action your request within 14 days. Because your audio and artwork never reach us, there is nothing of that kind for us to delete on your behalf.

Our service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the date at the top of this page, and notify you of any material changes by email or through the service.
