Refund Policy

Fourteen days to change your mind, as long as you have not used what you bought. Credits unspent, exports not made: email me and I will refund it in full. Once a purchase has been used to export a video it has done its job, and that is the point where refunds stop.

1. Company information

Company name: InvisibleHustle Ltd

Trading as: BeatVisualiser

Contact email: joel@beatvisualiser.com

Website: beatvisualiser.com

2. When you can get a refund

Two conditions, both of which have to hold: you ask within 14 days of paying, and you have not yet used what you paid for.

For a credit pack, unused means every credit from that pack is still on your balance. For Pro or the Lifetime licence, it means you have not exported a video since the payment.

Meet both and you get a full refund. No reason required, no admin charge, no service fee. You get back exactly what you paid.

You can still build, preview, and try every visualiser in the app as much as you like without affecting this. Previewing is not exporting. It is the finished export that uses up what you bought.

3. When you cannot

Once a purchase has been used to export a video, it is not refundable. If you buy a pack, spend a credit on an export, and then want the money back, that is a no. You have had the thing you paid for.

Partly used packs are not refunded pro rata either. A 10-credit pack with 6 credits left is a used pack, and the 6 credits stay on your account for whenever you want them.

Requests made after 14 days are outside the policy, even where the credits are untouched.

None of this is meant to catch people out. If you bought the wrong thing, exported once, and told me the same day, email me anyway. I would rather sort it out than stand on the wording, and a credit lost to a failed export never counts against you (section 7).

4. Subscription renewals

A renewal is a new payment and gets its own 14-day window on the same terms: refundable if you have not exported since it went through.

If you want to avoid renewals entirely, cancel before the renewal date or buy credits instead. Credit packs are one-off payments with nothing attached.

5. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel Pro at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not end your current period. You keep Pro access until the period you have already paid for runs out.

Cancelling is not the same as asking for a refund. If you want the last payment back as well, email me within 14 days of it and section 2 applies.

Credit packs are one-off payments. There is no subscription attached and nothing to cancel.

6. What happens to your credits

Credits you buy never expire. They are yours until you spend them, with no clock and no monthly reset.

If a pack is refunded, the credits it granted come off your balance. Since a pack only qualifies while all of its credits are unused, this returns your balance to where it was before you bought.

Cancelling or refunding a Pro subscription does not touch credits you bought separately. Those stay on your account, and they still never expire.

7. Failed exports

If an export fails, the credit goes back automatically. You do not need to ask and you do not need to email anyone. A credit is held when the export starts and returned if the render does not finish.

Rendering happens in your browser, so a crashed tab, a closed laptop, or a browser running out of memory all count as a failed export and all return the credit.

If you can see that a credit was taken for an export you never received, tell me and I will put it back. A credit lost to a failed render does not count as a credit used, and it does not cost you a refund you would otherwise qualify for.

8. How to request a refund

Email joel@beatvisualiser.com from the address on your account. Include the date of the purchase and roughly what you paid. A reason is welcome but not required.

I answer refund requests within 3 working days and usually a good deal sooner. The refund itself goes back through Stripe to the original payment method and typically lands within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.

Refunding a subscription cancels it at the same time, so you will not be charged again.

9. Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the UK or the EEA, you have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. This policy is written to match that right, not to reduce it.

Digital content is an exception to that right. Where you download or export digital content within the 14 days, having consented at checkout and acknowledged that doing so ends the right to withdraw, the withdrawal right no longer applies to that purchase. That is the basis for section 3.

Until you export, the withdrawal right stands in full and section 2 honours it. Nothing on this page limits your rights where the service is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose: those rights are separate and are not affected by whether you have exported.

10. Abuse

We may decline a refund, or suspend an account, where the refund process is being used as a routine way of exporting for free: repeat buy-export-refund cycles, or multiple accounts doing the same thing.

This is rare and you will hear from me before anything happens to your account.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page changes when we do. The terms that apply to a purchase are the ones published on the day you bought.

12. Contact
